I’m a Tampa-based wedding planner with a background in large-scale events and building guest experiences. Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Tampa to attend the University of Tampa. Almost instantly I found myself spending weekends interning with the events teams at ZooTampa and The Florida Aquarium. It didn’t take long to realize: THIS IS IT.

While my career has taken me behind the scenes with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hilton, and Marriott, weddings have always been my constant. Within the events world, weddings were always the part that mattered most to me; the emotion, the energy, and the opportunity to create meaningful moments for couples and their favorite people.

That passion led me to create Gemma & Co Events, and by the way, yes—Gemma is my beloved, adopted former-stray cat. It’s honestly her world and I’m just lucky to live in it. Now, let’s plan your wedding! I can’t wait to chat over a coffee or a call!

You know that feeling when you give someone a gift and they open it with pure excitement—surprised, grateful, completely lit up? That’s what this work feels like to me. From the first conversation with my couples to the final send-off, I’m energized by bringing a vision to life, layer by layer, through thoughtful design, intentional details, and key moments. Watching everything come together on the wedding day, perfectly tied with a bow, is my high—and my why. 

What drives me to my core is creating an experience that goes beyond expectations and is deeply grounded in hospitality. I love making couples and their guests feel seen, understood, and genuinely cared for. Being trusted to guide such a meaningful day and help turn a wedding wish into something real is what makes this work so fulfilling.
